Palm Springs Development Project (PSDP)

Project Management Team Public Meetings

At the February 16, 2023 Desert Community College District Board of Trustees meeting, Trustees approved schematic design plans for the campus in Palm Springs, directing staff to incorporate several adjustments prior to final phases of design plan completion for submittal to the state for final approval.

The Board named Dr. Scott Adkins, College of the Desert Director of West Valley Campuses and Robert Rauscher, The MAAS Companies Project Manager to co-chair a series of public meetings designed to expedite incorporation of those adjustments into the schematic design for the project. The Board also directed staff to invite west valley cities to designate one member each as a liaison to facilitate communications with their respective cities as the schematic design for the campus is finalized. City designees are: Flinn Fagg, city of Palm Springs Deputy City Manager; Rita Lamb, city of Cathedral City Mayor; and Daniel Porras, Deputy City Manager, city of Desert Hot Springs.

April 19 , 2023 9:30 am - 11:30 am

May 17, 2023 9:30 am - 11:30 am

June 14, 2023 9:00 am - 12:00 pm

All project management team meetings are scheduled to take place in the College of the Desert Multi-Purpose Room at the Donald and Peggy Cravens Student Center at the Palm Desert Campus and be broadcast live on the College website.
